TikTok is a fun place to find and build community. I thought I would write a short story based on input from my followers. It’s going really well.
Here is our story so far…
Our main character is an orc or half-orc who was raised among a tribe of fierce warriors. Our character has the heart of a champion and the drive to succeed. The only problem is, she’s a female. She struggles against the patriarchy to be accepted as a warrior. Just as she is beginning to wear down the tribal leaders, she makes a serious mistake. She’s driven from the tribe and forced to face a quiet power living inside her, stronger than any blade and sharper than any spear. She has to decide whether to flee to the city and live a domesticated city life so many of her kind have adopted, or embrace the dread power within.
